I know a number of people who have very strong opinions about the SME Foundation. On a scale of one to 10, I find that there are really only three positions on the scale - ones, 10s and squarely in the middle. My guess is that most of the SME membership is in the middle. To them, the foundation is just another line item on their dues statement that they simply skip over.
