The owner of the Foothill Place Apartments, a 450-unit community at 2260 S. Foothill Dr., Salt Lake City, has hired an architectural firm to explore options for the aging complex, constructed in 1970.
Apartment Investment & Management Co. (AIMCO), based in Denver, has retained David Owen Tryba Architects, also of Denver, to explore what should replace the sprawling project, whose demographic is lower than the surrounding area and whose crime rate is higher.
