Of Brookfield - James C. Fletcher III, age 68, passed away surrounded by his family at home on April 15 after a brief battle with cancer. Jim was born on September 21, 1938, the eldest of five children, to James and Mary (nee Slattery) Fletcher of Brooklyn, NY. Jim met the love of his life, Maureen "Mo" Flynn, as a teenager, and during a snowstorm on Feb. 4, 1961, they were married at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Brooklyn, NY.
