Fleming Income Up 0.1%

A 0.1 percent increase in net income to $25.5 million was reported Wednesday for the 12-week quarter ended July 11 by Fleming Companies Inc. of Oklahoma City. The net income for the quarter was up from $25.4 million for the same period of 1991. Fully diluted earnings per share for the 12-week quarter ended July 11 remained unchanged at 69 cents per share. Sales for the quarter were $2.96 billion, down 1.5 percent from $3 billion for the like period in 1991. Net earnings for the first 28 weeks of 1992 rose 8.1 percent to $62.8 million, compared with $58.1 million for the like period in 1991....
