Al Unser Jr. is not one for hyperbole, which made his remarks earlier this month at Indianapolis Motor Speedway effective.
Junior said his father, Al, and uncle, Bobby, are racing legends in their own minds. Anthony Joseph Foyt Jr., he said, is the only true legend.
"He's being nice because he's driving for Foyt [in the Indianapolis 500],'' Al Sr. responded. "But he's right, too.''
