CONTINUING violence in North Belfast demonstrates the need for the Good Friday Agreement to be implemented. The Irish Republican Army insists on retaining the capability to kill or terrorize its foes. Unless the IRA shows by its actions that it is committed to peace, the government created by the agreement will soon fall.
