David Suzuki is Canada's best-known champion for the environment. Every week he hosts the CBC show The Nature of Things. He has also written many books that have been translated into French and Spanish. Dr. Suzuki is also a scientist. For more than 30 years, he was a professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and he is the director of the David Suzuki Foundation, an organization that does environmental research.
