More weekend courses planned, too
In an effort to accommodate non-traditional students, Missouri Western State College this fall is extending its choice of evening and weekend classes.
Dr. Ed Gorsky, Western's dean of continuing education and special programs, said a variety of classes and degree programs will be available for students who have to work during the day.
"Most of us are short-term goal people and when it takes you 10 years to complete a degree," Dr. Gorsky said, "that's too long."
