Ernest-Spencer Metals (ESM), Meriden, Kansas, has just completed a 15,000-sq.-ft. addition to its 30,000-sq.-ft. shop.
The custom metal fabricator needed the space to keep up with its growth. The addition provides more room for additional welding stations and machinery.
The company, founded in 1993, sprang from a thirdgeneration, family-held corporation (ErnestSpencer) which has been designing and building grain elevators and feed mills throughout mid-America since the early 1920's. Fabricating metal parts for these facilities started in 1974.
