Boston bands are on another hot streak. The latest to push open the door to the bigtime is East of Eden. The band's first gig was at the New Music Seminar two years ago in New York, where label scouts were so impressed that a bidding war ensued over the performers' services. They're still on a fast track, for they've just released a new album and will open a national tour for the Psychedelic Furs, hitting the Orpheum Nov. 28.
