Colors change this time of year.

Leaves fall in orange and red.

The browns of winter creep before us.

And the light we've grown so used to, from early morning to long, bright evening, fades in pink pastels.

Dusk comes, each week, each day, a little sooner, a little colder.

Then, we remember the white of winter and enjoy the shrinking days while we can.

The following photos were taken around the same time over four weeks - as people watched the sunset, played outside, hurried to finish work and hurried to beat the dusk.
