The driver of a semitrailer truck was killed early Friday on Interstate Hwy. 694 in Little Canada after his truck, loaded with concrete beams, rolled into a guard rail on a curve.
I-694 was closed for hours following the 7 a.m. accident, causing traffic to back up for several miles, said State Patrol Lt. Jay Swanson. It reopened about 2:30 p.m. The driver, Michael Snider, 35, of Menomonie, Wis., died at the scene. Rescuers had to cut into the cab to extract his body.
