A traveling photo exhibit capturing the history of blacks in Virginia from 1619 to 1986 is on display at the Martha Washington Library in Alexandria through Monday. "Don't Grieve After Me" contains more than 70 black and white photographs, exhibited in free-standing and wall hanging format. "The exhibit is the only overview of blacks in Virginia. It attempts to tell the history of life in the state in a broad spectrum," said Jean Zeidler, project coordinator of the exhibit.
