In January, as I reported last month, our plant and its employees were the victims of an "armed" robbery. I reflected on what I could have done to prevent it, and found that perhaps I have been so preoccupied with environmental issues that the security at my plant and the overall state of society had somehow slipped off my radar. Or perhaps I just wanted to bury my head in the sand on the issue.
