Insite Peripherals introduces the Model I325 Floptical disk drive with magnetic recording and with the high-track densities of an optical servomechanism. The removable disk storage system uses 3.5-inch disks. The disk system has encoded optical track densities of 1,250 tracks per inch and records data on the magnetic medium between the servo tracks. The average seek time of the drive is 65 msec. An embedded disk controller and a command-set SCSI are included.
