GETTING THERE: United Airlines offers overnight direct flights from Washington, arriving nine to 11 hours later. But because there is only a one- or two-hour time difference (depending on the season), you won't have to worry about jet lag. Other carriers offer connecting service, often through New York. Round-trip fares cost around $765. GETTING AROUND: Buenos Aires is a great walking city.
