In 1975, just as American troops were leaving Vietnam, the United States airlifted 2,000 orphans and Asian-American children out of the country in a humanitarian effort called "Operation Babylift." Tonight, in a fascinating documentary, PBS's "American Experience" explores the story of what happened to one of those children, Mai Thi Hiep, after she was adopted and raised in Tennessee.
