Northern Kentucky University is making a policy change to permit students who transfer to the school to receive NKU credit for courses from previous schools in which they earned grades of D+, D or D-.
The current policy sets a C- as the lowest grade for which students transferring courses from their previous schools can get credit toward graduation at NKU.
NKU officials said they were urged by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education to make the change.
