Scott Scurlock, son of a minister from Reston, was very good at robbing banks in the Pacific Northwest -- so good that police in Seattle called him "Hollywood" for the elaborate disguises he wore during 18 bank holdups that netted him more than $2 million. But Scurlock, a handsome, charismatic, Robin Hood-sort of character, shot himself in the head on Thanksgiving Eve 1996 rather than allow himself to be captured.
