Municipalities get help for December costs

Waukesha -- About $658,000 in federal disaster relief to help replenish budgets depleted by heavy December snowfalls is en route to Waukesha County and many of its municipalities, county Emergency Management Manager James Malueg said Wednesday.

Malueg said the amount of aid pleasantly surprised him. "After the first disaster declaration, I didn't think we were going to get anything," he said.
