ALBANY, N.Y. - Led by outstanding sophomore goaltender David McKee, Cornell threw a blanket over Vermont, winning, 3-0, in the semifinals of the ECACHL tournament at Pepsi Arena last night. It was McKee's league-record 10th shutout of the season, and the 15th of his career (13 was the ECAC record, held by, among others, former Big Red standout Ken Dryden). McKee has seven shutouts in the last 11 games as Cornell extended its undefeated streak to 17 games (16-0-1).
