Individuals interested in genealogy and history have a unique opportunity on the weekend of April 27-29. The Mary L. Cook Public Library in Waynesville and The Quaker Heritage Center of Wilmington College in Wilmington are sponsoring the annual Quaker Genealogy & History Conference: Anti-Slavery -- Taking A Risk for Freedom. The conference features 10 experts in genealogy and history. Several meals are included in the workshop.
