Concrete, rivers a risky mix By RESLER Saturday, August 5, 2000 Removing the concrete channels through which the Menomonee and Kinnickinnic rivers flow might help prevent drownings, such as the three that occurred last week. Still, taking that step is no guarantee the rivers will become benign.
