Audrey Meadows, who was recognized as one of television's foremost comedians for her role as Jackie Gleason's long-suffering wife in the classic 1950s series "The Honeymooners," died of lung cancer Feb. 3 at a hospital in Los Angeles. Ron Wise, a spokesman for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Miss Meadows was admitted Jan 24, said some references listed her age as 71 while family members put it at 69.
