The chief nursing officer's review on mental health nursing was published in April, and From Values to Action was, on the whole, received positively. The review of the largest body of mental health professionals in the UK underlines the important role mental health nurses currently play, and seeks to reward that with more opportunities for nurses and improved services for service users.
