The homeless men who use the Drop-In Shelter at Grace Episcopal Church soon will have not only showers that don't sputter but possibly more hot water, too.
The city of Madison has granted funding of up to $24,999 to Porchlight, Inc. for repair of the showers and other building code violations identified in a recent inspection.
City building inspectors visited the shelter after articles were published in The Capital Times detailing shelter users' complaints about conditions there.
