Members provide place to learn of faith's rich past

BROOKVILLE - A dedicated group of volunteers from Brethren churches in southern and western Ohio have opened the Brethren Heritage Center in Brookville.

Fred Benedict, a member of the Brethren Heritage Committee, said the center has been a success since its formal opening in March.

`We estimate that we had about 175 people visit us during our grand opening,' Benedict said.

The center, staffed by volunteers, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
