University Wire 10-14-2004 (Daily Kent Stater) (U-WIRE) KENT, Ohio -- When Tyler Hilton came to Rock the Vote a couple of weeks ago, I was anxious to hear the rest of his CD. What I found out is that he sounds a lot like John Mayer, but that really is not a bad thing. Most of the fast songs, including the opening track "When It Comes," sound exactly like Mayer. The songs really have the feel of Hilton just sitting around the studio, playing his guitar and being recorded like it's no big deal. He sounds like he just is jamming and having a good old time.
