Larry Don McQuay, by begging the state of Texas to castrate him, has reminded us that we don't know what to do with dangerous offenders whose crimes are the result of some mental disorder. McQuay's crimes were particularly awful. He was convicted of molesting a 6-year-old San Antonio boy (and claims to have molested children at least 240 times).
