Two-tenths of a mile isn't far. Two, three blocks tops. An average person could run it in a few minutes.

But for two Racine County residents, carrying the Olympic torch that distance on its way to the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City -- or just running two-tenths of a mile -- is a kind of miracle.
