IF a recent CableLabs poll of 25 top industry executives proves correct, by the year 2001 the cable TV industry will reign as the dominant provider of entertainment and information for residential customers. The leaders further suggest that by the dawn of the 21st century the industry will garner $4 billion annually in new revenues from "enhanced" services.
