The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards and Brookings, Ore.-based C & K Markets Inc., operating 50 stores under the Ray's Food Place, Shop Smart Stores and Price Less Foods banners, have agreed to conduct the first independent supermarket test of the PCATS-NAXML eB2B standards.
Two global DSD vendors working through their local distributors will be supplying C & K Markets Inc. with electronic item, price and invoice information in a data structure developed by both retailers and suppliers through the non-profit PCATS standards development organization.
