NEW YORK (FNS) -- Collins & Aikman Corp. earnings rose 12.6 per cent in the third quarter and 4.5 per cent in the nine months ended Nov. 30.
In the quarter, earnings advanced to record $18,312,000, or 84 cents a share, from $16,259,000, or 76 cents. Sales increased 13.9 per cent to a new high of $295,191,000 from $259,201,000.
