Bush raised at least $356,000 from big state donors in '99, group says

Madison -- Texas Gov. George W. Bush raised at least $356,000 last year from Wisconsin donors giving $1,000 or more to his presidential campaign, a campaign finance reform group said.
Arizona Sen. John McCain, Bush's main opponent for the GOP nomination, received at least $7,000 last year from such large donors, according to Common Cause in Wisconsin.
The maximum one person can contribute to one candidate for the presidential primary races is $1,000. Donations exceeding that ...
