For the past two years, Michigan State University cheerleaders have had the privilege of dining among the men and women who graced the sidelines of Spartan Stadium several years-in some cases decades-before them at a special spring banquet. The evening of nostalgia, sponsored by the program's 22-year-old cheerleading alumni association, not only provides a way for generations of MSU cheerleaders to congregate and to meet fresh faces of the current Spartan spirit squad and their families, but also gives them a chance to contribute financially.
