Austin, Texas -- Usually, the keynote speakers at the annual South by Southwest Music Conference talk about the state of the music industry and lessons they've learned. But not the Golden God: He mostly talked about himself.

Actually, former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant's speech at the March music conference was more of a fawning interview with VH1 executive Bill Flanagan. Plant, 56, was self-deprecating and amusing. Also, he did have nice things to say about public radio and a few younger bands - besides the younger band that he's performing...
