What's that delicious smell? Samantha's grandmother must be baking bread again. Nothing else smells quite as tasty as home-baked bread. Have you ever tried to bake some? You can cook up a great treat for your family - and you can learn something about science at the same time. Samantha learned to bake bread from her grandmother. Together they mixed and kneaded the dough, set it to rise, punched it down, and divided it into two loaves. They put the loaves in pans to rise a second time. Then they baked the loaves in a hot oven. It was a lot of work - especially the kneading - but it was worth it...
