Former heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe was charged with second-degree assault yesterday after an altercation with his adult nephew, Prince George's County police said. Bowe, 30, reported to the Oxon Hill police station at about 3 p.m., after he was contacted by police. He was released on his own recognizance after appearing before a Prince George's County district court commissioner in Landover, police said. The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $2,500 fine. Neither Bowe, nor his longtime manager, Rock Newman, could be reached to comment last night. Pol...
