The Hull literary festival concludes this weekend with a session from Alan Ayckbourn (above) and John Godber, two playwright who resolutely premiere their new work outside London.
While Ayckbourn is the more famed of the Yorkshire dramatists, it is Hull's second literary son (after Philip Larkin), John Godber, who has done most to put the city on the theatre map.
