This weekend, millions of people will be busy preparing to celebrate a very significant day.

Sweets like kheer, pedha, gopalkala or gulab jamun are the major dishes people will enjoy as they honor the day with singing, chanting and dancing.

Such is the routine millions of Hindus will follow as they mark the birth of Krishna.
