All the country's leading politicians are under attack THE dynasties that have dominated politics in Bangladesh since independence in 1971 are on the ropes. On April 11th Sheikh Hasina Wajed, former prime minister and leader of the Awami League, was charged over the murder of four people in political violence last October.
