GLOBE NORTHWEST 2 / LOWELL In Lowell this weekend, organizers are eagerly awaiting a large gathering of singers and hoping they don't shy away from demonstrating what they love to do - break into four-part harmony, barbershop-style, on stage and off. More than 1,000 barbershop singers from across New England and eastern Canada will converge at Lowell Memorial Auditorium for the Barbershop Harmony Society's Northeastern District Convention and Contest.
