It would be easy to attribute the two sellout crowds that guitarist Baden Powell drew to Blues Alley last night to the resurgent popularity of Brazilian music. But Powell's music defies categorization, embracing as it does everything from baroque to jazz and bossa nova styles. His opening set was typically diverse.
