A drive down the main street of Baddeck, Nova Scotia takes only about a minute or two. It would be easy to miss the library as its sign also includes the local fire department insignia. Once inside however, the quaint library's charms become apparent. From the back of the library through one of four windows that make up the rear wall is a splendid panorama of the picturesque Bras d'Or Lakes. On a rainy and foggy day you can just spot Kidston Island in the distance. It's easy to imagine curling up in one of their cozy chairs in the reading area to while away the day.
