EDITORIALS Two candidates are running for the Santa Fe Community College Board of Governors seat that is on the ballot Tuesday. Unfortunately, the election takes place in the context of an ongoing legal battle between the Board of Governors and the Santa Fe Community College Foundation over the foundation's fund-raising, heretofore mostly for scholarships. The board severed its relationship with the foundation last year and asked that its $4.5 million in assets be transferred to a new nonprofit with a broader mission.
