Ten civilian airports in central Oklahoma make up one of the largest economic development systems in the state, the Oklahoma City Airport Trust was told Wednesday.
The airports, both publicly and privately owned, account for 20,822 jobs with an annual payroll of $387.48 million, according to documents presented by Bob Barnard, president of the consulting firm of Barnard Kunkelberg Co. of Tulsa.
