Antonio S. Cua, 74, an eminent scholar in Chinese philosophy and comparative philosophy who was professor emeritus of philosophy at Catholic University, died March 27 of cancer at Suburban Hospital. He lived in Bethesda for 40 years. Known as an inspiring teacher, Dr. Cua was primarily interested in Western moral philosophy, moral psychology and Chinese ethics, in particular Confucian ethics.
