The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced on May 12th, 2006 to impose an antidumping tariff on the import of nucleotides food additives originated from Japan and Korea. It covers three products disodium 5'-inosinate, disodium 5'-guanylate and disodium 5'-ribonucleotide with the tariff codes of 2934990 and 382490990. Antidumping tariff rates are as follows:
(1) All Japanese companies 119% (2) Korean companies (i) Daesang Corporation 25% (ii) All others 119%
The duration for the implementation is 5 years from May 12th, 2006.
