Animals, animated heroes roar into new TV season for children By SUSAN KING Los Angeles Times Thursday, September 14, 2000 Hollywood -- As school kids start hitting the books again, television is back in action, too, premiering its new children's programming this month. PBS is betting on the "Bookworm Bunch," a new Saturday programming block.
