Perhaps nearly six months without a terror bomb inside Israel had produced the hope that Hamas had given up, or at least postponed, its attempt to retaliate for the assassination of Hamas leaders. Tuesday's twin terror bombings in Israel showed these frail, ardent hopes to be wishful thinking.
